Prior to joining the firm, Raya was a senior tax associate in one of the top audit firms in the country. She is experienced in handling BIR deficiency tax assessments, tax advisory, and special registrations, among others. She worked as an external auditor prior to entering law school.

Raya received her Juris Doctor degree from Arellano University School of Law, and was admitted to the Bar in 2023. She obtained her BS Accountancy degree from Chiang Kai Shek College, and her BS Management Accounting degree from the University of Santo Tomas. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
